For some reason, I have always loved the description "cornflower" to describe the blue color of someone's eyes. Like I said before, and like Warg said, the short monosylabic answers really characterize Aoshi.

Thank you so much for this fic! The fact that it is a gift to me makes me supremely happy. I like the title of this peice, too, it really reflects what's actually going on. They are simply questions. It's also like saying "Do you love me?" is an easy question for Aoshi to answer. Yes, undoubtedly, yes.

Hmm, simple and easy. Nicely kept with the monosyllabic Aoshi and the "fickle and hesitant" Kaoru.

Something about this seems slightly off, maybe the uncalled-for comparison to "Misao and the other girls he knew"(that just doesn't go together) or the slight imbalance in the way the prose panned out.. or maybe.. i'm just being too damn picky ^__^
