Ditch Gospel 2007-07-16 . chapter 1Aw... *wipes away tear*
This is so sweet, and yet sad at the same time. I think my favourite part is where Gojyo thinks of himself as a brother to Goku. And Goku's reaction, "Who knew you were so smart?" is just perfect, keeping things lighthearted in the way that they tend to do.
Wow, I didn't realize you had written so much fic. I need to play catch-up! |
Sekiseishi 2007-01-07 . chapter 1It was both sad and undeniably adorable at the same time. Although it wasn't quite what I expected at first. For a moment I thought you'd killed Sanzo. Don't know why, or how, but you know how my brain works better than most.
The point of view was interesting (not like third person and all that, but you know what I mean). Goku isn't really a stranger to death, especially since he's killed so many demons and whatnot, but I guess the death of an innocent, especially one he was (kind of) close to would have that affect.
I like how Gojyo was the one who ended up telling him about life and death, though. Any of the others would have suited the situation just fine, but the interaction between this pair is often too cliche for me to read anything about it.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the death of the cat that made me a little sad (I'm not much of a cat person), but Goku's reaction. It was childish, but something anyone would do in that situation. He seems to have an affinity for making friends with animals. Like his bird, but that died, too. Maybe he figured the cat, being the bird's predator and one step up the food chain, would have a better chance at surviving or something. But I could just be reading too much into it.
I love you! And I'll (hopefully) see you on Thursday! We must do this thing 'hang out'. I have not done anything like that in so long.
Much love and a fav from me! |
narrizan 2006-12-12 . chapter 1I am sorry for your loss. This was a simple piece full of feeling and painfully beautiful, sad but hopeful at the same time.
In no way did I find this out of character at all, for either of them for I firmly believe our dearest redhead is capable of feeling and certainly able to show it when needed.
As an ode to your friend this is indeed fitting.
I hope you don't find it odd but...warmest regards. |
