Nicki 5/18/12 . chapter 1 Sad but truly lovely!
'he explains to the ground near her feet that he was drunk, and she reassures the collar of his vest that she was drunk too' - such an interesting way to vividly convey the situation.. Great job! |
Ichiume 5/16/12 . chapter 1So bittersweet. But beautiful. Love your work. |
Saya White 4/20/12 . chapter 1This story was truly like no other. I loved the lasting impression it left with me after reading and it is extremely rare for a fanfiction to convey as much emotion as this one did; especially considering how short it was. All in all, I couldn't wish for anything more. |
Mallie-3 4/19/12 . chapter 1This was just amazing. I had to re-read it a couple times because I couldn't get enough. Your work amazes me. |
songstar13 4/14/12 . chapter 1I've been reading your stories. Unfortunately, the one I read before this was Scarlet Scroll. I only say unfortunately because I stopped reading Scarlet Scroll and started reading this in the hopes of getting something a little more cheerful and light-hearted, and it seems I couldn't have chosen a worse fic.
That said, there is something compelling in this beyond the surface of...disturbance. I can't say I really liked it, or even enjoyed it, but it has certainly left a lasting impression on me, and in conjunction with Scarlet Scroll, I'm feeling much more depressed than usual after reading this pairing.
I'm not saying the story is bad; quite the opposite, it takes guts and skill to write something so dark and, well, twisted. I applaud your ability as a writer. I could feel Sakura's brokenness, even after she'd egged her sensei into the sordid act. The entire aura of this story gives off a feeling of brokenness, and it doesn't relent even when Naruto shows up at the end. There is a small ray of hope that she may be healed by his return, but the relationship between her and Kakashi will never be the same. And that is sad.
Anyway, I think I've rambled on long enough. To summarize: It was angsty, it was dark, it was somewhat disturbing. I didn't quite like it, as it presents us with dark things we'd rather not contemplate, but I recognize the mastery of the writing and the realism of the story. Real life isn't all sunshine and rainbows.
Once again, I applaud your skill.

internalpanthara 1/20/12 . chapter 1I was really expecting something different considering the warning, but it wasn't nearly as controversial as I first thought it would be. A very realistic scenario as things like it happen all the time. Well written and very much a possibility for Sakura's character.

een nihc 1/14/12 . chapter 1I don't really know how to describe what I'm feeling after reading this. The characters are sad, hurt and broken. The ending is somewhat hopeful but after all that happened, I doubt story nonetheless. |
Maria Antonieta 12/25/11 . chapter 1this story is sad, but I think it was the intention. Very good |
 minx 12/22/11 . chapter 1 loved. it. |
 WanderingAround 11/25/11 . chapter 1really great story. |
Uchihas apprentice 7/9/11 . chapter 1 I truly LOOOOVEEE YOU and your stories...your mind is just something to behold XDDDD |
Gabubu 6/17/11 . chapter 1I really, really, really like how realistic this was. This is something that honestly has a possibility of happening. Not in the manga, ofc; but given the plot and characters- yes. |
Smexy Itachi-San 6/7/11 . chapter 1W-Wow... I can't believe it...a Kakashi and Sakura one-shot with a lemon in it! How do you get that kind of image from a 16 year old and a 30 year old? It was a bit sad but at the same time with how Sakura is a bit of a wimp with no real back bone I can totally see it happening to them.
Smexy Itachi-San is out... Yeah, un? |
 Caroline.comeau 5/3/11 . chapter 1This story was lovely.
Very sad though. I wanted to cry the whole time. The feelings are so real!
I liked though how Naruto brought some sunshine back in to her life again at the end, that was a nice ending :) |
