This was just so well written. I have to say it's my favorite story on this site. The plot, the character's reactions, the uniqueness of the story, it's all perfectly written. It gives the same feeling as Algernon Blackwood's The Willows. Indeed, you're a great writer, please continue to make new stories.

This is a wonderful story. The idea of an unstable world in the Dangai is beautiful thing and you wove the folklore into the Bleach universe perfectly. Most definitely one of the best stories I've ever read.

Oh my gosh, this is such a gem. It's not common to see any friendship-type Ichigo and Rukia stories. This is AMAZING. Good narration in this - it gave me that haunting chill. ah I can't say how much I liked this clearly; you are very creative in introducing scenery and situation. Good job

Where I got the link for this story they mentioned that this would have an X-Filesy "Monster of the Week" vibe -- and it totally does, even if I'm more familiar with the Buffy variety -- and since I prefer my bleach fanfics short, light and cracky I was hesitant to give it a go, but wow. WOW. Everything was so tight and creepy and exciting and absorbing. Unusual. I love how, on top of all of that, you managed to capture their crazy-but-it-works partnership so damn well. That, and the pace, the pace owns like a mutha. Fav'd!

For what's supposed to be a horror story, I think this is frikkin' awesome! And, personally, I hate horror stuff. XD Seriously, I could really picture this actually being IN the anime/manga itself! You did really well with this story!

Excellent, excellent story. While I enjoy where Bleach has gone as the storyline has progressed, I do rather miss the feel of the first several episodes where the focus was more on bizarre encounters with Hollows. This was a wonderful trip back to the sort of storyline that first hooked me on Bleach. I also enjoyed your exploration into how the shinigami might relate to others in the same line of work. One of the questions that has always nagged at me about the Bleach universe was if the shinigami and Soul Society were intended to be universal or not.
