Simply brilliant. Honestly, I got a little teary-eyed at the end. (Then again, that's not all that difficult to achieve...) I especially liked the bit where he ponders about Hawaiian board games - just letting his thoughts wander at a moment of near-certain death is somehow so totally Drake. Truly spot-on.

Wow, this is awesome! It's so...Drake! It would be uncanny, but I'm too busy making fangirlish shiny-eyes and trying not to pounce on my computer and snuggle it. All the best things about the coolest character ever come through perfectly. :D

I really hope you're planning to do more ROD fics.

Let me gush that this is a wonderful story, because the men of ROD do not get enough love and attention. Short and sweet, but this is pure Drake - you really got into his head. Keep on writing (hopefully more ROD fanfics) because this story shows that you've got the basics down and some talent. We definitely need more quality than we do quantity. Keep up the good work!
