How wonderfully written this story is! I love how you characterize Alicia, and make her so very relatable as she deals with those around her. Every detail of the characters' personalities feels so on-point. I do hope you would continue with this.

Lezard is my favourite from VP2 actually. This last part to this fanfic was most enjoyable and the little experiment he did with the ice and cooling-thingy was really ...cool n_n !

This point is actually about as far as I got in the game at the moment. I'd be most happy if you would continue this, as you said that the next part woulf be the final part n_n

So why have I read this many times and never reviewed?

You have such a wonderful writing style. If there is some sort of difference between this and the game, it goes right over my head.

So this happen during the game. It is interesting :D Alicia trying to thread ways of befriending her party. It would seem hard but with her perseverance, she'll find out soon enough who will remain. Good luck!

I really enjoyed reading this story. The characters are dead-on accurate and believable so much that it feels like I'm watching extended cutscenes from the game. I can personally relate to Alicia's self-doubt and tendency to think that people don't really like her, and I like how you have her feeling both great admiration for Silmeria as well as inadequacy compared to her. I was surprised in a good way to see such a subtle handling of Rufus and Alicia's interactions, too. This fills me with squee. Oh yeah, and you write Lezard so delightfully polite and clever in this. If you write any more, I hope that you get to write Lezard at his best/worst.

I am really, really enjoying this. The interactions are believable, if not painfully so (at least for Alicia's part), and I am so looking forward to further developments.

Keep up the great work! I thought that your grasp of the characters (and the dynamics of their relationships) was spot-on; at its core, the game was about Alicia's personal journey from a meek, scared girl into a confident heroine, and I thought you did a better job of conveying that than the game itself did. You also nailed Rufus's wiseassery, Lezard's half-suave, half-smarmy dialogue, the Arngrim-Dylan macho relationship, and Leone's constant concern (or show of such?).

Bonus points for working battle dialogue (Lezard's "these foes are a joke!") into the story. XD I'm guessing that the einherjar are absent - just as they are in the game's cutscenes - outside of battle?

Well, those are all the lil' errors I can catch. Aside from that, this fic is well up to your usual standards I haven't played VP2, so I can't comment on how strongly it's hewing to the plot, but overall, the characterization seems quite good, particularly Arngrim's. I also felt sorry for Rufus...seems like he has it tough, though again, I'm not sure what happened to him in-game ;_; Anyways, one thing that's interesting is how much of a nice guy Lezard seems to be. It's hard to imagine this polite mage turning into the freaky stalker-type fellow we know from the original VP :o I suppose he betrays the party or something at some point during the game? Pardon my ignorance ;_; Another good chapter overall :D
