Obviously cannon has dealt with Sheppard's father since you wrote this, but I love reading well-done takes on his back story. This one promises to be a doozy! Can't wait to read more.

This was great, and an honour to read! I must say though, I was kind of hoping that Todd would show up somewhere. The relationship between him and Sheppard is just so interesting, it's a pity not many people try and portray it. Ah, well. Thank you for writing this!

I've really enjoyed reading this story - I thought it was very well written. I particularly liked the relationship between John and his father. I started off not liking Matt but by the end you'd really done a good job showing their past problems and developing them both.

It was nice to see a hint of a life John would like to have with Teyla at the end as well.

I would love to see further stories following these two!

It was so well rounded and it gave a much needed insite to Johns character. The ending was just fab - I actually had a tear in my eye and I could just picture the scene when he found out he was being promoted - wonderful

I loved the ending and in answer to your question, I would love to read about how their relationship developed over the two years and how Matt reacted to some of the things that happened to John and his team.
