Disturbing. Just disturbing. You perfectly described the most horrifying command in the whole FF series. The story and the actual game scenario was tied so intricately that such terrifying visual didn't seem exaggerated at all. The casting aside weapon, the tearing monster apart, the devouring, the feeling after... very visual yet believable at the same time.

As if it was not enough, those last sentences gave me a chill. DEVOUR suddenly had a new meaning, one just as creepy as the game itself.

Like other reviewers already said, this fic is a gem. And you definitely are talented. I'm very, very glad I got to know about your fics, and hope to see more in the future.

As I read this fic I couldn't shake the feeling that it could be a piece of something much more epic. And... then it hit me that it WAS part of something bigger-the game itself.

I'm not trying to sound like an idiot, here... Er... I guess what I'm trying to say is that this fit in perfectly with the game's scenario, and at the same time was something unique (and disturbing) on its own. Rather surrealistic. Good job.

There's something very dark and attractive about this story that I just can't put my finger on - it bugs me to no end. I've always felt that FF8 was more than just a love story and that it was something a lot darker. Sadly, though, not many fanfiction authors can expand on that point like you can. You have a talent for these kind of fanfiction, please don't stop, no matter whatever flames you get (hell, those people can't even use punctuation properly).

Hmm...interestingly brutal. Definitely the first I've ever seen with something like this...but you pull off these kind of shocking things very well. There was more than just 'Squall devorers (sorry about spelling) a monster in a horribly gory way'...there was something else. Sorry that I'm being very analytical, but your fic makes me want to. _ An interesting read.
