If I were Snape I would poison them both, and laugh. Alas, Rowling probably won't let him--probably figured letting him finished off Dumbledore was as much fun as he was going to get (and considering some contract negotiations in the past and some practical jokes involving lemon drops, maybe, just maybe, Snape deserved some pleasure out of it).
