 PrincessSYS 12/15/09 . chapter 1WOW! |
Giovanna 11/18/07 . chapter 1 Hey!I really wanted you to know that Aramis is not as bad as you put it...I mean...there is a margin that Dumas leaves for us to imagine how bad or how good he really is..but not to that extreme!come on!he would have died for any of them and he loved D'Artagnan! I agree that they had different political views...but they greatly admire each other, and Aramis had a really good character...I also did not share the changes you put in the original story...the father stuff for Aramis or they having "bonds problems" because of a lack of enemies...they went away because they were older and had other interests...but they never stopped loving each other...sorry if I am harsh...it is just that I am such a big fan...I could not stop myself! |
Cleopatra 6/19/03 . chapter 1 It's pretty good. I am a huge fan of The Three Musketeers (my favorite book), Dumas (my favorite author), and D'Artagnan (my favorite character in the world!). I labored through Twenty Years After for D'Artagnan, and was rewarded for its plot leading up to The Man in the Iron Mask. Good luck to another Dumas lover! |
Starshadow 11/16/02 . chapter 1 It is very well written, but there are things in it I don't agree with. I won't expound greatly on them, however as many people have already told you about Aramis & d'Artagnan as well as expanding on the whole thing. Keep up the good work. |
Dali2theLlamasquared 8/6/02 . chapter 1I thought personally it was very good, especially the portrayal of Athos. Athos has always been my favorite musketeer. Sorry; partiality is setting into my mind already. But the one thing that irked me was the fact that you have darkened my sight of Aramis. I have always thought of Aramis as more reluctant to share himself, true, but never truly resentful at d'Artagnan. But that is how I see things. It was a good fic, nonetheless. |
 fleur d'or 5/17/02 . chapter 1 very well written. i liked it alot. |
ShadowDragon1 4/3/02 . chapter 1That was a great story! I would not think Aramis hated d'Artagnan that much but he certainly was not as close to him as the others. |
Etienne Noret 1/2/02 . chapter 1Lovely. What I haven't been able to write yet. |
Tato 12/17/01 . chapter 1 very interesting! keep it up!
All for One |
 Shadowfax 10/4/01 . chapter 1Nice character sketch. |
 shadowphantomness 9/27/01 . chapter 1So cool! I LOVE 3 musketeers! |
Fayra Lee 9/17/01 . chapter 1Wow, that was good! Keep writing. |
jessica 9/17/01 . chapter 1 I thought it was a very sweet story and greatly showed how much athos and D'artagnan care for eachother. but aramis not liking D'artagnan? he loved D'artagnan like a brother they all did |
Heather 9/7/01 . chapter 1 it was a good story, but Aramis did not join the musketeers on account of his father. He joined because of a mishap he had as a younger man with a soldier (it had something to do with a lady). I believe that he wanted to learn to fight properly so that he could defeat this soldier when they met again. His father never entered into it. Also, Aramis and D'artagnan had no animosity except for their political beliefs. Aramis was a member of the Fronde, and D'artagnan remained a musketeer. |
Christina 9/4/01 . chapter 1 Wow, excelent work. The writing is beautiful, the conversation could be right out of Dumas. My only problem is the darkened light of Aramis's character sketch. He has good qualities too, y'know. Despite what you say, he would have himself cut into a million pieces for D'Artagnan, and though there was jealousy in their friendship, the friendship would always overcome it... Think about that a little too. |
