to make plurals in chinese, it's kinda like english. but not really. they have pluralization words, like we do kinda sorta. a mob of kangaroos, a murder of crows, a pack of dogs, a school of fish, ect. kinda like that.

There are a lot of pluralization words, but the most common is "ge." To pluralize with this word, you first say the number then the pluralization word and then the noun.

For instance, to say three monsters. It would be san ge yao guai. six people would be liu ge ren. Simple really, just annoying to learn all of the pluralization words, "ge" generally works though.

There has to be a better way to explain it, but I don't feel like trying to comp up with one, I want to finish reading.

You know what I love about this series? It is the right balance of character development, action, and romance, which I believe is the quintessential formula for the perfect fanfic. River/Jayne is developing in a natural enough progression that I don't feel creepified by the sudden onslaught of the relationship. I like that we saw its origins, so the progression makes sense. And I LOVE that this takes moments from Those Left Behind, which I consider to be cannon. Nicely done, as usual.

The General

Such a wonderful series. So well written, and very well done.

The difference between "the feds" and the Alliance military:

-The Alliance military is just that--the military. Army, navy, air force, marines, you name it.

-"The feds" are Federal Marshals. If I'm correct in what a marshal's function is here in America, then it's something between the police/sheriffs and the military. Maybe something like the Coast Guard?

I probably should be leaving this specific review on the previous story, but I only just thought to type it out and don't feel like looking up which chapter it should've been on.

Anyway, what I want to say is that the concept that the reason Jayne tried to turn in River and Simon on Ariel was because he had been betrayed first by Mal is quite original. And it makes so much sense that I wonder why no one else (whose fanfic I've read) has thought of it.

This series is extremely good, and I'll be putting you on my favorites list--haven't figured out whether to just put the stories or you yourself on it yet though.

I don't think you have any idea how happy this story made me. Every paragraph made my heart swell with happiness. Not to mention laughter!! I read most of this when I was at school during my tech class when I was suppose to be working and I could barely contain my laughter...I'm sure I sounded like I was suffocating.

I could so totally hear the actors' voices for each line and I totally love the Jayne personality you pulled out of him! It was so wonderfully believable.

So thank you so much for this story. It completely and totally made my day so wonderful.

I've tried not the drown you with praise for every chapter of this amazing series - but, really, River deciding to have a crush on Mal instead of Jayne and thinking of him naked in that completely logical way to to brilliant to keep quiet about. This is awesome. I am in love.
