This story is absolutely wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I felt you portrayed the characters of Vader and Luke very realistically, and I loved how you showed the subtle changes of Vader's character over the time he spent with Luke.
This is definitely one of the best stories I've ever read. Your way of describing thoughts and emotions of the characters was really captivating.
I really would love to read a sequel, I think this story has alot of scope left :)

Oh, I am so happy and all swirly-hearts-ish right now! ^_^ Sque! I was so worried at the end of chapter 7 that Luke-ish wouldn't make it out...and he did! Yay! And while Vader isn't magically-and-totally-OOC-ish-ly using the Light Side of the Force, he's in a nice transitional spot right now; a good spot to end the story.

I think you also deserve mad props for your description of Vader's shift into the more Light Side of the Force. Vader's surprise at the ease of its use was interesting...perhaps it only seemed easy to use because he had once again accepted that it was the better path...or that he was no longer fighting "destiny" and that his son was about to kick the bucket...hmm...whatever it is, I really liked Darth's ruminations on the matter. Kudos.

There's just something so awesomely classic and wonderful about Luke Skywalker saying his classic line, "I cam to rescue you." Even here as this child with a strange and twisted upbringing; you just can't repress his instincts and amazingness! ^_^
