Let me preface this by saying that I really enjoyed your fic, Promise, and I am also enjoying Broken Promises. (It's really one of the only stories on here that I check semi-regularly for updates) I think you do a great job adding a bit of humor to every chapter, and I have really enjoyed where you have taken the characters.

That being said, I really think that Promise is the stronger of this pair of stories. I think this sequel has lost a bit of focus, which, admittedly, is a really difficult thing to maintain when you are writing at story over the course of several years. I find myself wondering sometimes where you are going with this and why, in fact, Promise needed a sequel at all.

Sorry to be a downer--I really do like this story a lot. I think you've done a great job, but I just wanted to throw out a few things that were bugging me as I read it. And as nice as it is to get "yay, this is great!" all the time, I know that as someone who has taken all of this time to write two monster fics and probably does some original stuff (I believe you mention a degree in creative writing in your profile?) you probably want a little feedback on how to get even better. And this is the perfect place to do it, so keep on writing!

I can't believe I forgot to review this chapter. The best part, by far, was Bastila showing up. Awesome. Can't wait to see how she'll treat all this.
