This is ... wonderful, full of strong characterization, and just a really good idea. I would never have seen it this way. My favorite part would be the inclusion of Vossler because, wow. Great job.

Ok. Um. Words. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of writing. I really had to avoid crying (I don't cry with an audience, thank you). Basch and I have a little thing in common in that we've both lost a brother, though the circumstances are way different. Seeing Noah's departure through his own eyes was an especially powerful viewpiece. Ah, the bonds of siblinghood.

Anyway. Well done. Preen!

Wow. Haunting probably isn't the most original word to use to describe this, but it's all I can come up with at the moment.
The images your writing conjured up were so vivid.
I keep going back to the story, trying to find something specific to reference for this review, but I can't single one thing out--the whole piece is marvelous.
The more I read it, the more tragic it seems. Your feautured characters carry plenty of sorrow, yes, but it's still amazing how you've managed to amplify it in such a subtle way.
The build-up to the end, combined with the quickness of the ending itself made it that much more powerful.
This will have a lingering effect on me, to say the least. Well done.

Once again, a great piece. Your writing style conveys a lot in this, I love the description of death; it paints an almost frightening picture. Great visuals though, how you described the smoky flow of blood from the wounds. And the subject is wonderful, Noah struck me as a really tragic character.
