araiday 2008-03-22 ch 2,	abuseI've got to admit first thing that I'm a Batman comics/animated series fan more than films. As far as I'm concerned, the only "great" Batman film was the animated Mask of the Phantasm. That said, Batman Begins had more good than bad of any live-action Batman film yet made. And as much as I loathe those comics fans who cling so staunchly to canon as to be blinded to any variation in character, I must admit that after reading this chapter I'm scared. If that female burgler holding a knife to a blind girl's throat is Catwoman I will be so very disappointed. That would be akin to Batman saying to a thug, "You know, rather than punching you and leaving you for the police I'm just going to take out my gun and shoot you!" or Alfred deciding to make a Lean Cuisine for dinner instead of a 5-course meal. :) You wouldn't do that to a brand-new fan, would you? Anyway, rant over! Regardless of above I AM enjoying this. I love your Alfred, Dick and Bruce. Looks like some exciting times ahead!

You stepped over a few lines with this story, but it was done so tastefully and and emotionally that it makes me love your writing all the more. Thanks for the fantastic read; I can't wait to get into the next story.
