| Khentkawes 2007-09-15 ch 6, | abusehm... I'm behind on my reading and reviewing. Interesting chapter. And yes, that get well card was really creepy. I'm sure it will be important later on. And I imagine the departmental bickering will play an important role as well. I have to admit, I like the way you deal with some of the day-to-day trivialities that the show never has time for. Of course these people still have paper-work to do, and Jack has e-mails to deal with, and minor personnel conflicts arise. I find it fascinating to see how they deal with those "normal" issues. But maybe I'm easily fascinated. On a similar note, I've always liked the way you let the minor characters have distinct personalities. People like Rothman, Balinsky, and Tolliver... you develop them just enough to be believable without adding unnecessary details. So in the end, I find your little office politics plausible. And amusing. |

I really enjoy watching Jack track down the problem with the Records Department and slowly watching it get into shape so it doesn't cause Daniel any future problems. Also, I love, love how you make Daniel's recovery more realistic, ie. taking a while. Most stories tend to gloss over how long it takes for someone to recover from a major illness and I just don't find that realistic at all. So I applaud you in your efforts. I'm looking forward to your next chapter! |
