It's been a very long time since the last update. I hope you haven't given up on this wonderful story. I would really like to read the rest of it - especially who will win the fight: Chris or the Turkey g.

And this last chapter with Ezra and Vin was wonderful, so I hope we will get to see the rest of the story sometime...

Loved the way Vin handled the woman at Walmart and all the difficulties of the day.

Wonderful to see more of this! Poor Ezra having to go to WalMart; at least now he can say that he's been. Research would be a great justification for him. Love how well Vin handled the rude woman; maybe she'll catch the hint. Nice that Vin was telling the truth the whole time. That is an impressive jeep and good thing they didn't take the Jag. They'll get there eventually and Ezra will thaw out at the ranch. Thanks so much for this part; hope to see more!

Ezra and Vin have far to much in common when it comes to childhood neglect. I love this story and am thrilled to see a new part.

The thing with Walmart is sad to me as you see some jerk like tha every time you enter one. That or a woman with a child throwing a fit.

Anyway, loved the new part and Vin's con was beautiful to read about.

Oh my...no one does disgruntled commentary with such panache and silent verbal flair like Ezra, and then leave it to Vin to reiterate what Ezra thought in such earthy concise language...His Jag didn't want to come out and play in the snow...LOL

I have to tell you...I think there's a mighty long matching strand of DNA connecting Ezra and Vin, they are both exceptional at acting and cons. Vin laid a bigger snow storm on the snooty shopper than occurred outside. LOL...the protective, as well as disgusted, big brother in Ezra came out when the lady fell for Vin beguiling charm and flirted with him...I don't believe Ezra liked that at all. The Purina diet...LOL LOL...even when he's pulling a con, Vin still bases it partly on the truth.

I like the glimpse into Vin's childhood...I can see that curly tousled head just barely peeking above the steering wheel, tip of his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth, driving a big ol' snow plow...a man of many jobs and talents. Though I'm not so sure he wanted to teach Billy a lesson so much as he wanted to play with the machinery. LOL

I like the way Ezra is so comfortable with Vin that he doesn't mind sharing part of his childhood misadventures with him...and I like the way Vin automatically feels protective of him and incensed at the treatment...true brothers...no matter how much they rib and make fun of each other...they always have each others back...whether over past mistreatment or new.

I declare I want Maude to suffer something really horrible for all she's done to Ezra!

That imp with the snow plough learn his lesson? I hope so!

Nice to see more of this, although I bet Chris will be happy when this celebration is over as this fic has been very hard on him. Love the determination to get the turkey in the oven, no matter the physical cost. Vin and Ezra are a delight together. Thanks for sharing this.

I like the way the guys are banding together to make sure they all get out to the ranch. They just need to hurry, poor Chris is being beat up by a headless, plucked, eviscerated turkey. And I get the distinct feeling Edgar is highly amused by it. I know I was highly amused by Chris having to play proctologist to the turkey...ew...LOL. I think next year, if I were Chris, I would talk the guys into having a nice spiral ham. I loved it when Chris thought Edgar was going to get his medicine for him...and all he got was an empty water dish. I would have thrown myself in the floor and had a tantrum long before Chris did!
