I love how you described the Charlie of Jack's dream: "He was tall, strong and beautiful." I can just imagine the pride of a father in seeing a son through these eyes. Not "strong and handsome," but "strong and beautiful."

And I like the thought that this beautiful Charlie, possibly alive in another reality, is Jack's angel in this reality, bringing his most sought after dream to life. Beautiful story.
