OMG this was the greatest concept and the sentence at the ending was just awesome you're a writing genius.

It's a personal preference, but I wish the descriptions weren't so... involved. I think I was spoiled by too many shounen shows, so now I don't have patience or mental capacity for more elaborate things.

The descriptions of all the masked people and what they were supposed to be were kind of confusing. The ending wasn't bad; I liked it, though it felt... rushed maybe?

Anyway, you have "seat" instead of "sit" in one place, and the part where Sonic apologizes seems to have a line too many(?)
Sonic: “Hey, I just thought I’d apologize.” The blue hedgehog said.“I—”
?: “You know, for those things I said. That I didn’t need you, that you weren’t a hero, that I wanted you dead—”
Shadow: “Well, I apologize too, then. I shouldn’t have said the things I said either.”
Sonic:“It’s no problem.” Sonic grinned. “Either way, we’re both alive right?”

Who says that second line?

Anyway, I want to write a Sonic/Shadow (Sonadow) story, but I can't seem to find a good idea I could stick to. Could you suggest something?

Touching! Indeed the best story I've read in a LONG time. Brilliant. This story holds great format and I can't help but read it over. The ending is awesome! Sorry about your depression. I say it was worth it! This is the most TOUCHING sonic story I have ever read. I have no suggestions really. I wish I did. *sigh* It was excellent and seemingly well thought out.
