Wow, I'm at a loss of words. FF7 would have been so much better if this insight into his character was in the original story. Not all of it, but certainly a great deal of this would've been fantastic for the story. Especially the idea that Shinra and Hojo were fashioning their own executioner. The idea that the truly monstrous isn't the monster, but their keeper. Kudos to you buddy, I just spent several hours reading every single word all in one go, you're awesome.

I went back re-reading some of my old favorites and this was one of them, but then I realized that I forgot to review this chapter... must have been laughing my rear off by reading this chapter because it was just so darn funny and awesome. :) ::hands you internet cookies:: Great work.

Bravo on a masterpiece tale.

This is, by far, on par with the original Aeris/Seph story JensisX's Irony of Fate (my favorite of all time). Everything flowed together, the characters and plot. Excellent work!

This was a great epilogue. I really liked the part where he makes the rings out of a chunk of Masamune, and the little phrases of playful sensuality between the two (eager advantage of his compulsion, waking with sticky thighs, laudatory or possessive). I'm also glad you showed the parts where Sephiroth continues to struggle--it would have been too unbelievable if his problems had just gone away. I'm fascinated and a little saddened by the flashes of child-like behavior Sephiroth has, like in this chapter, hiding things away.

I'm glad I got to see how this story and your writing progressed. I think the strongest and most effective part of your writing is the phrases that you can write, fully in detail with the world, and infused with emotion (lazy, happy weight, Tifareth, marked by the headstone in the backyard, heir only to Masamune) that brings the reader wholly into the world.

One little inconsistency though, the last part of this chapter starts with Aeris dreaming and looking into the future, but it ends as Aeris in the present of that future. I'm not sure if you meant that intentionally, and it did end up being a really sweet ending line.

What a superb ending. Beautifully written. Thanks for writing. For once I can actually imagine Sephiroth 'cured' and happy together with Aerith. If anyone can 'help' him, it's Aerith, I'd assume too :p

I have to admit, I LOVE this AU of Sephiroth/Aerith's pairing, it does make sense in a way, and this chapter (14) is HOT. Sorry for such a crude observation. But it's just completely HOT. :p

...and they all lived happily ever after ^^ i'm glad you went for this route. they deserve it after all they've been through. well, slam all my predictions that you're gonna end it tragically. you ended it PERFECTLY and i'm sure LS would be proud that you managed to finish her unfinished work ^^

i can't believe how much he's changed from a psycho power-hungry maniac to this docile person who wants more than to just BE with her. also glad you finally made them leave the place, i was thinking how long are they gonna stay there @_@

the dream at the end sort of signifies the whole point of the story; how she was always dreaming of him before and how that came true in soem extent. it somehow shows that this latest dream she has of him may not be far-off from coming true ^^ loved it! just absolutely loved it!

so i guess this is the end of your aeriseph writings... can't expect to look forward for more from you :D but... THANK YOU, for sticking to this through the end and for giving us to the long-awaited conclusion of "Dream OF Me" ^^

Well, I've tried every day to review, and I can't find the words. This is going to be inadequate, because words just fail me. Every time I try, I feel it falls far short of what I want to say. The story stands on its own. Perfect and beautiful. I cried my eyes out several times. This was the happy ending they've always deserved, and they finally have it. They made a family, and became whole. I think we re-live our own childhoods through our children, and Seph got his own destroyed childhood, the one Shinra ripped from him, granted back through his children. I was happy to see Seph is still kind of a jerk. I'm going to miss their incredible adventure, but the story made me believe anything is possible. The song for them is "Take Me With You" by VAST.
