The imagery in this fic is truly memorable, some metaphors that I'm particularly fond of are, "between the smokestacks of factories like a hibernating snail" and "Blue and red sparks sprung up like bleeding fairies around them". One of my favourite things about this are all the cross-over references; you would make a brilliant script writer, in my opinion the best shows are those that tightly-weave and interlace their worlds. You get better with every fic; this is the best type of birthday present. |

I liked Sparx' (Amandine's?) school kid references earlier in the piece, and her playing, and the interesting new twist on the meetings, and Random becoming the responsible party there for a while. I liked it all, really. Good stuff. |
