This story is so sad and tragic but I loved it. You did a wonderful job with going back and forth in time in a coherent manner and it truly enhanced the piece, especially the idea of how she doesn't love him, then doesn't know, and then she realizes she did after it was too late. Wonderful story.

This is so beautiful and sad. I started reading and I just couldn't believe Shikamaru was dead... And it was written so beautifully and perfect. And I could feel my heart breaking as I read. The end was perfect. The note was perfect. Everything was so... This was so sad. And there are only two fanfics that have been able to make me cry. The one I can't even remember anymore it was so long ago, and now this one. I'm wiping the tears away as I type. This was so amazing and so heart-wrenching. I love this story so much... Thank you for writing something so beautiful.

WHY? Why did he have to die? When I saw the title and then read that line about clouds always coming back, I thought, okay, I bet he'll come back at the end of the story. BUT HE DIDN'T! AND I CRIED! By the way, you're a great writer. Way better than me. I hope to read more of your stories in the future!

I have to admit it was slightly confusing but only because it's...12:19 at night but other than that it was really good...but I dunno if the ending was sad or not because it said Shikamaru didn't come back like a cloud...
