You get so deep into your characters that one really feels with them, every tiny bit (I've never been afraid of thunder and lightning, but I could feel all of Ruby's fear). And your research is incredible! All those details on trucks and trick riding ... Wow! I loved how you made Tim so very human but still not "fluffy" (ergh, bad word, but couldn't think of anything better...). He was this very human tough guy and I might have a crush LOL. As you already know, your fic has affected my dreams and I think that says a lot of how good it is and how much I love it. I liked Ruby a lot. I'm not usually one for female OC, because there's just too many MarySue-ish ones, but I really liked your Ruby. I also liked how you had Two-Bit in it a lot and mentioned Steve a couple of times. And Dally being all Dally was real great. I'm looking forward to reading your other fics which I will do pretty soon.

What I love about your writing is the way that you integrate your original characters and canon characters so seamlessly. I also love how you write Two-Bit in this...he comes off so real, and I think he's probably the hardest canon character to do that with (at least he would be for me).

lily-james-jon-alanna 2008-01-11 ch 52,	abuseThis story was really cool. and sad! I really wanted Tim and Ruby to get past the fact she slept with dally. But relised they never could. Tim could never say that he loved her and Ruby would always want him to. . . Still even with the suprise ending, you really summed things up. Ruby would move on and so would Tim. Damn I really wanted them to be together. I guess it's just love is supposed to work for everyone right? But that's not how it always works out. Sometimes people can't look past things. Your story really got me thinking about stuff that's importent to me. I don't read really good fics often 'cuase they're hard to come by. God you really knew about your cars/trucks. Really good. I kept streaching it out so it wouldn't end. Thanks, your a very talented writer ( or this one is talente, I'll have to read more of your fics).

EmilineHarris 2007-08-10 ch 52,	abuseI just got back from vacation and ran over here to read the final chapter of this amazing story... Let me just say that I wasn't disappointed! I enjoyed that the action was mainly reflective, and not some dramatic event to keep us waiting for the sequel. I'm not sure if I've invented this myself, but it seems to me that Ruby has emerged wiser because of everything. She is not the damaged "china" that Buck warned her she might become, and she seems stronger because of her mistakes. She is sad, yes, but she is not the tortured soul she was one chapter back. It seems that she has grown and will (hopefully) avoid making the same mistakes in the future. I like that she sees Tulsa as her "home" and intends on sticking around too. I'd love to hear of her exploits at school and of her blossoming friendship with Two-Bit. Their characters play off of eachother quite well, and their chemistry (albeit platonic) is undeniable. Where time has given Ruby the opportunity to go from devestated to content, Tim, has basically taken the opposite approach. He actually seems to be taking this worse than Ruby (after the fact) and letting it feed the hatred and anger that he already has buried beneath the surface. Instead of growing, he is forcing himself to stay in one spot and wish that he could take everything back (ex. meeting her in the first place). Rather than appreciating the good things that came from their relationship, he is throwing all of that away and damning the whole thing. I hope that he can stop being so stubborn and just let some things go... But, anyway, this story had me hooked from the very beginning and I loved reading every single chapter of it. Thank you for sharing this! :)
