This is a RARE crossover indeed and excellently written. I read your tirade on your page and I feel your pain. There are lot of very unfriendly people out there, and unfortunately there are even more people who don't seem to comprehend the basic concept of "Constructive Criticism". KOTF are probably the worst and so are Canon Cops. They are the lowest of the low, calling authors names and flaming them rather than giving legitimate and logical reason for why they didn't like the story, nor do they give any suggestions on how to change the story either. In fan fiction the key to success is having an open mind and being able to see the possibilities that others might not see or are willing to accept. Its often the plot concepts that most people don't ever think about that often end up being the most popular, and also draw the greatest ire from the peanut gallery. So, don't you DARE give up writing fan fiction! You can't please all of the people all of the time. This is a lesson I had to learn when I started out doing fan fiction and I've since learned to just ignore the rude and obnoxious artards and focus on the constructive criticism of those with more than three brain cells. From reading this first chapter I can see you are a great writer with loads of potential, it would be a crime if you stopped outright, so hold your head high and be proud of your creativity. You've got a fan in me. :-)

I'm having such a great time reading this Jumanji/Ranma adventure. Fantastic job letting us see what went on here during this new Jumanji game that got started. You know, I can't help but wonder and hope that someday Ranma will end up playing the magic board game of Zathura. It can happen.

My only complaint is the even spread of skills, I would find it more believable that they would each specialize, doesn’t mean that they cant do it all, just that they are better in their chosen areas. I really dislike copying Ranma’s learning curve, at least in all fields. Other than that, it’s a great piece.

I am surprised that Shampoo did not write a letter to Cologne while they were in the Foreign Legion, could they have communicated and perhaps altered the past?

I know it mentioned that there was the storm within the village and the attacks, there being a Monsoon or some such.

Is there a possibility that Jusenkyo would be flooded? What has been happening within the mountain range since Shampoo was included within the game?

If Ranma ever did go back to the 'Past' would there be crossovers with notable movies such as "King Solomon's Mines, Indiana Jones And Raiders of the Lost Arc, The Mummy, Tarzan, Charge of the Light Brigade?" Hmm, I was wondering if they would have had the chance to Fly some old Cloth Air Planes, perhaps meeting the Red Baron? ;p

What else would I do with the Game if I was a Uber Martial Artist? It would depend on the current play, for the one where they were in the Legion, I would attempt to get in contact with maybe one or two of the 'Ancient Master's' of a art or two that I might owe a favor or they did me a kindness, maybe a bit of advice or word of warning for some event?

Hmm, What else was within the Pay Chests? Maybe some undocumented Treasures or Magic's? *Heh* sorry, thinking about a 'Magic Lamp' type thing.

What has been going on within the area's that Ranma and Shampoo disappeared from, that you mentioned time was passing? I admit, I am curious, local invasions? Could Jumanji's effects mix with Jusenkyo's?
