 s 2009-08-09 . chapter 1 Awesome. |
DreamScene 2009-08-01 . chapter 1This is gorgeously written. I love the prose-like clarity of the imagery.
I haven't really thought of these two together so much, but the way you've depicted them is beautiful and very much in canon and in character. |
GioCentric 2009-07-29 . chapter 1Whoa, I like this. Very well written. The emotions were raw and it went well with the characters. I thought this was gonna be a Mugen and Fuu fic at first. I really like it. The dialogue is wonderful. |
 Luv4Uncas 2009-07-24 . chapter 1Great oneshot! Beautifully written! |
Eltara 2009-05-30 . chapter 1Aww...I absolutely loved how you described their love for eachother. It really is just perfectly Jin and Fuu and that is enough, as you said. *dreamy-eyed look* |
tomoe-gozen52 2009-04-08 . chapter 1This story was really lovely. Poetic with no mis-steps to break the flow. Achingly sweet and like a beautiful dream. |
Cantare 2009-01-23 . chapter 1Thanks so much for a great story. I just finished Champloo this week and I am going through serious withdrawal. I guess fanfiction is somewhat good medicine for that, but I sadly haven't found much good writing in the SC fandom. I am relieved that a writer of your talents took up such a concept and wove it into a subtle, detailed tale centered on my OTP. You captured Jin very well, better than most other authors I've read, and you also preserved Fuu's childish mannerisms while giving her maturity. I liked how you had Mugen drop in and then stay and how her thoughts and feelings developed for him.
The parentheses were a good effect. The dialogue was excellent. I like how you used a lot of understatement and subtlety. The thing I dislike about most SC fanfics is that their style is clearly not in line with the series. SC's imagery and characterizations remain intact in your writing, and I admire you for refining this story to that point.
Of course, the romance really drew me in, especially because it wasn't overt and outrageously fluffy. I like that when Jin admitted he killed Kariya for himself and not for her, Fuu didn't get all emo or anything. I like that all the emotions were toned down. The only thing I found that was kind of uncharacteristic of Jin was his poetic statement about love and the distance between their hearts. I feel like some of it could have been put in parentheses like in Fuu's thoughts, as she watches him and deduces what is on his mind.
It's been over two years since you wrote this but I hope you write more Jin/Fuu. Thanks again for a great read.

Hari-chan15 2009-01-12 . chapter 1Aw...its so cute! Its seems pretty probable too :3
I love the detail in the environment and actions. Awesome job. |
janedoe401 2009-01-06 . chapter 1You know that when people read your work they fall in love with it.
You're work is so beautifully written. Simple, glaring, insightful and a wonderfully different way of looking at the anime that was so wonderfully made.
I've always been a Fuu/Jin fan although the way the anime was made satisfied all fans regardless of which pairing they were inclined to.
But your fic, sigh...thank you, thank you, thank you. I love the way your POV is from Fuu's side and how she sees both Jin and Mugen. And oh so, how she sees Jin. Jin. Jin. Jin. Makes my heart just flutter. |
Coragyps 2008-11-12 . chapter 1Came across this unexpectedly, and it's so lovely that I think I better add it to my favorites right away! There's not a lot of JinFuu out there that I can buy into. |
 7PhoenixAshes 2008-09-01 . chapter 1Wow. Just...wow.
This was too beautiful for me to describe in anything resembling a coherent fashion...
Wow. |
Mika 2008-07-23 . chapter 1 Simple and beautiful. Thank you! |
mangagirl3535 2008-06-05 . chapter 1You have an amazing writing style; it doesn't simply tell the story, it flows with the story. An amazingly well-written and lovable story. A true pleasure to read. :) |
Tori Shiroi 2008-06-03 . chapter 1This is breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you. |
Lucifer-the-great-undead 2008-05-06 . chapter 1I totally adore your story. I love its simplicity. Some of the words you used just went together so well. Sometimes, feelings don't have to be so complicated and melodramatic. They can just be simple and nice. This really fits Jin and Fuu. |
