Thank you for the beautiful story. I read it a few years ago, but wasn't a good reviewer. I'm happy to find that you are still writing on ffnet. Don't be concerned about people not understanding your writing. It was fantastically done and clearly understandable. I loved the misdirection at the beginning, the hesitant doubt that the reader has for Trowa's love of Quatre. The confusion and the internal 'no, no, no' the reader wants to say as Trowa races to save, not Quatre, but Heero. At least that's how it looks. But the end is so simple and clear. Trowa would do anything to save Quatre and he knows the connection that Heero and Quatre have. Therefore, to save his love, he has to save Quatre. But he doesn't and the tragedy has so many beautiful edges. The fact that Heero never understood his own importance. The knowledge that Quatre sent Heero knowing it would mean his own death as well. It was so elegant and beautiful, and so sorrowful. I also like that it was so short. Something so simple and sad would just be maudaline, too much, in a longer story.

Wow, a little long-winded, but I think you get the gist of things. Thanks for the story and please continue with your others. I'm coming back to ffnet after a bit of a break and I'm glad to see your great ideas continuing.

mrrf... nicely written and very depressing, but i love things that make me feel empty, so great job chica! just wondering though... trowa and quatre were lovers, trowa actually loved heero, so... he was with quatre because he was indirectly linked with the pilot he really wanted?

p.s. eh... i don't think quatti would ask another pilot to sacrifice themselves without offering himself up first. (no offense, that's just what i think and i'm insane so ignore me)(please keep writing, i love your style)

That wasn't confusing at all. _ I always thought that there was a strange connection between Heero and Quatre. This little ficlet was good, though a bit short. But instead of complaining, I'll just read some of your other stories.

You mention that some say this fic was confusing, but though I was slightly confused at first, when I got to the ending, it all fell together. As sad as it is, it's beautiful too and it does make sense. And which one is the heart of outer space and which is the soul? I think it may be interchangeable in many ways. So it doesn't matter to me, I just love the bond between Heero and Quatre.

Okay...be prepared for my bizzare theory on what happened...it's gonna be totally wrong, but its always worth a shot, huh? Okay...Trowa likes/loves heero, trowa also with quatre, hinting there was somefink once upon a time about heero and quatre, which is why heero sez for trowa to watch quatre? and then at the end i realized that heero liked/loved quatre, and had for a long time, so he wanted to protect him...or maybe he knew that quatre was already dead so he went to die as well...but then i guess this would be ruled as a suicide fic, huh? ah well, thats what i think happened, if im wrong id b interested to know exactly what happened...anyway, that was really well written, but next time, put it in laymans terms for all of us out there like me that speak only the lost language of nitwit _ Good job, keep it up, and ROCK ON BRO!
