Yes... it is a bit of an odd format... you could have done something a little more descriptive, but that can hardly be helped with the style of the piece, maybe branching out a bit with the vocab or something. it's an interesting idea. Joe's father i suppose... i don't think he's the type to get abused though... somehow it doesn't seem like joe.
