I'm surprised I didn't see this the first time I browsed your profile. Actually, I think I did, but I just forgot.

Heh, that was a good story. A bit confusing in parts, but still good.

I love the interaction between the characters, especially after Vincent and Cloud start to travel together. Heh, and little Zidane is so cute!

I loved this story, despite some of the more confusing parts (Necron and Rinoa-Ultimecia being examples)

*dance dance dance dance dance dance dance* Yay! Okay, done dancing. But I have to say that I loved this whole story! I admit I got a little bit confused about who lived on what world at what time, but I just read through it anyway and decided not to pay attention to that fact, hee hee. Um... anyway, I'm hoping that you'll keep up the great work and write more final fantasy stories--I've really enjoyed all of yours that I've read, and I'd like to see more from you!

I think they're totally on the wrong planet, and all the monsters are going to drop right on their heads. :P

Kya! Vivi! *Fangirl* ^^ It's way cool that you've put the later games in the past. I would never have thought of it, being the uncreative litle person that I am. >>

ah, well. Personally I'd rather have the memories, including the sad ones, than the 'Might-Have-Been's.' But maybe that's just me.

Wonderful, stupendous, a work of art in words! This fic was detailed, amusing, and had a plotline that I would kill for! I'm just sorry that they never had the time to all sit down and exchange stories. The gaping would have been entertaining. Anyway *bows* Very Well Done.

Ah. It's been a while since I checked up on YOU. This looks interesting. With your sense of humor I'm sure it will get more so. ~_^

Sorry I haven't been reading your fics for a hell of a long time. Been a bit busy lately, ya? But back to the review...

It's AWESOME! Loved every minute of it!! Although Squall kinda goes outta character near the end... ~_~ Oh well. You thinking about going into the writing industry? You really should, your stories rock. ^-^ Looking forward to more from you!

2004-10-10 . chapter 1
This is one of the better buddy stories I have read on this site. While the two devices that propel the story seem perhaps overly fortuitous, once they are accepted the tale becomes a relatively straightforward account of Four Guys, Stuck In A Mess, Getting Themselves Out Of It (and Saving The World a time or two largely by accident in their spare time).

The plot itself, while simple, is strong enough to carry the story (and has many interesting flourishes; I find the expansion of the Terra-Gaia situation from FFIX to make excellent sense, although it begs the question of where earlier games would fit in did they also exist in this world). The dialogue is clever, although at times the story seems to be a little plodding (particularly during travel scenes).

While there are several in-jokes that I would probably appreciate more had I ever actually, oh, *finished* one of the games in question, the characterization and description are good enough that someone who had only played one or two of the games would not find themselves lost.

The interaction between the three heroes and one antihero is fun, as are the clever ways bits of the background for one game show up in unexpected places. In addition, the omake are entertaining.

In short, this is a good and serviceable novel, which I would recommend to fans of any of the games or to science fantasy fans looking to kill an afternoon.
