| Catti666 2007-03-24 ch 1, | abuseThat is... quite discorcerning. If you ask me Severus doesn't feel quilty of all those things at all... maybe some of them but I'd drop some of them away from the list. |
| excessivelyperky 2007-03-16 ch 1, | abuseThe really horrifying part is that I'm afraid he really believes all this. |
| Lastie 2007-01-04 ch 1, anon. | abuseA very interesting POV fic - I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! |
| lucidity 2006-12-28 ch 1, | abuseI'm glad to see you posting again! Poor Severus. I suppose there is plenty enough guilt to go around for everyone. Great segment. I'm looking forward to more! |
| rio_blip 2006-12-24 ch 1, anon. | abuseWow! That's a cheerful story for Christmas eve :-P. Good to (finally) read some more of your stuff. As ever, it is very well written, and very powerful- especially the first part when he's talking about his childhood. A pretty graphic description of the murder, but very well done. i wonder whether you did not need to include such a comprehensive list of Snape's 'failures': while he might well list them all in his thinking as his fault, I found myself losing patience a little with him as he came across increasingly as overly self-pitying. However, that is very much my opinion, and were I to read it on another day that probably wouldn't be the case. It is definitely good having the abuse at the beginning to explain why he thinks so negatively of himself. That is a very very small comment in light of an excelletn piece |
| duj 2006-12-24 ch 1, | abuseThe saddest thing is that his guilt is all That he has even heart yet left to feel, Not pride, not joy, not friendship; just the small Sad slavery of shame that does not heal. The duty filled beshrouds him in a pall - If only he could make the past unreel - He bends his weary head behind the wall; He hangs, head downward, broken on the wheel. |
