Not a whole lot as far as content, but it definitely moves the story along well. I'm wondering what's gonna happen when the two Drule royals knock heads. Could be very interesting. As far as the doctor... I can't help but think that maybe you have a thing or two up your sleeve for her and a certain pilot. Looking forward to the next three chapters.

Well, Lance is certainly no Jean-Luc Picard when it comes to diplomacy. More like Kirk. But then, he always was the ladies man. The emotional side of this chapter was most compelling, the way the often distant and roguish Lance just opens up like that... It's nothing you'd expect from him, but somehow, you make it fit very well with his character, and lends it a depth seldom seen in fanfics. Well done.

Wow. Great chapter, Jade. Another fine example of your great character pieces. One small typo that is easily missed in both proofreading and in reading the chapter, but other than that, perfect. You never fail to amaze. ^_^
