This is FABULOUS!! Many stories I've encountered have made Addison an evil-she-bi*ch, Meredith a big bag of tears, Derek the most noble of all the shiny white knights, or Mark the manwhore suddenly turned noble and clear headed. And while that's mildly entertaining for a bit those are not the reasons we tune in every week to watch this show, so THANK YOU for sticking to the essence of these characters. For they are all dark and twisty, with daddy issues, and baggage galore and we LOVE them for it!! Can't wait for the in-laws to enter

I love this story--the little bits between Meredith and Derek make me wince a little, since I generally read this stuff to avoid the pairing, but I am hopeful that it's a temporary pain, to be made worthwhile in the long run! The dialogue is spot-on, and your Derek and Addison both seem very psychologically plausible to me. Plus, you've managed to take a melodramatic plotline and to give it a decidedly unmelodramatic treatment. Great work. Please continue soon!

Really good chapter with Miranda and Addison. Hopefully Addison's wrist and everything else will truly be fine. And hopefully her boys come visit her soon.

Aww. I love the father-daughter bond you have going between Addison and Richard. It's sweet that he cares for her like a daughter, especially when she's pretty much on her own in seattle.
