Paine and Demyx... That certainly is unusual. You've certainly kept both characters IC - something I'm well pleased with.
Understandably, in Crack! Pairings, that is a little more difficult to pull off - the setting often seems bizarre and the character personalities warped. You would have to recreate an aura of familiarity to impress upon the reader's mind that the written character is indeed the same one from the RPG...
Heck, I'm rambling here... What I'm trying to say is that: To make your character appear more realistic, incorporate a distinguishing gesture, phrase or whatever-else into their actions. Paine's "Hurt time!", for instance.
Ok, I know these are ficlets and I shouldn't be complaining about the length... but something I find to be rather lacking are the descriptions, which compose a good deal of the text.
When I read, it seems to me that I'm catching a mere glimpse rather than the full picture... Adding a pinch more dimension to detail would probably increase the depth of your stories, and make them a more satisfying read.
Anyway, that's my two-cents. Apologies if I had damaged your pride too much. I guess I could always offer more reviews in compensation...
A request: Roxas x Larxene. Not exactly Crack!, but way too rare for my liking. I was gonna write one myself, but my current KH epic's getting in the way.
