One of the bes Ranma/Nabiki christmas story I've read lately.

Houki Boshi... just so you know one of the ending themes of the Bleach Anime is called Houki Boshi as well. Its a cool song and it drew me to your story. Oh yeah, I re read the engraving on the bracelette, really fitting especially with the comet in the end.

Anyway, my only complaint was that it's a tad too long. But that's just me, I've difficulty reading really long stories on fanfiction unless its broken into numerous chapters. 120 words is quite a lot.

Not really a fan of Nabiki plus Ranma, to me Nabiki has always been a b**tch who manipulated everyone and very RARELY showed civility to Ranma, normally blackmailing him in every circumstances and never showing compassion. If she did though, kindly point out the manga issue or anime episode which shows that she has a human side so that I can amend my perception.

But one thing I must applaud you, is for making Akane completely normal and in-character. You probably know better than I, how far fetched people have depicted her. I was extremely surprised and very impressed at how rationally you wrote about Ranma breaking the news to Akane that he loved Nabiki. I was expecting a mallet somewhere and instead I got a girl who went away on a training trip to better herself rather than disilluion herself with a lost love. So ten thousand kudos (whatever they are) to you.

You probably should have fleshed out the relationship between Nabiki and Ranma but seeing as this is the Christmas fic, i suppose its OK and it is sweet and heartwarming, though not as much for me as others seeing I'm not fond of Nabiki.

Speaking of which, have a very Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This was a great story, though you lost a little momentum when you did that flashback without telling us it was one. Well done.
