It's certainly different in the sense that usually Jack is pictured as a penniless orphan. Here she would be a not so penniless orphan. And she sure got engaged quickly. Too bad the story leaves off where it does so we are left in the dark about the plans of those pious natives.

What a treat to find this! Very nicely done. A nice distraction as I deal with my terrified dog this very loud fourth of july. Nice way of taking the siblingesque vibe Jack and Riddick had in Pitch Black and punching it forward. Great last line.

excellent grammar and story construction. I'm so glad that riddick and jack are themselves! OFcourse, i think that riddick would be a bit more brusque, but it seems that jack has a calming effect on him. keep it coming. i love it!

Hey how come you stopped there? You were doing so well. I mean seriously well. I liked every chapter. They just got better and better and then wham, you just stopped. I really hope that you can keep writing. I know sometimes you loose interest or your muse for writing but I hope you find it soon and update. It sucks that you left this great story hanging.
