To tell the truth, I was always a little bit disappointed to hear that one of your rare updates had gone to LNOL. It's not that I didn't thoroughly enjoy the story, I've just never been able to enjoy many fics (even one written by you) more than I enjoy SS and 180.
I'm spoiled. I know.
But, LNOL is beginning to grow on me and this chapter definitely earns a large amount of Fondness Points.
It's a combination of time spent with the story and the noticeable amount a growth seen from chapter to chapter, both in the characters (of course) and you, as a writer.
You just don't get that in many other fanfictions.
Anyway, about the chapter.
I highly enjoy it. Mostly because it is the single most memorable chapter in the fic so far, and not because I just finished reading it.
I'm rambling, and totally struggling with conveying how happy I am with this chapter because, well, I'm not a writer, or a critic.
All I can say is that this chapter stands out from the others, and as a result, LNOL is one of my favorite Uzumaki fics now.
Thank you so much for continuing your writing and for always improving upon your own perfected art.
DUDE. I read it and for some reason I also think that the neighbor is Leon...dunno why. :/ So I loved everything lol. Not surprising...but it's so HARD for me to find anything that doesn't sit well with me. The pacing is fine and it's written well.
Although, personally, I have trouble with the idea of relationships progressing so quickly into um..intimacy. Axel and Riku are fine, of course haha, but when I think about it for me...well. That's neither here nor there, sorry. SO.
Good job! I enjoyed it very much. And Riku's xmas gift was soo cute! I think I want a scrapbook with the velcro on the cover and everything too! :D
I have an inexplicable feeling that Leon is Demyx's mysterious neighbor with the nice ass. Really, I have virtually nothing to base this idea on but...reader's intuition? But that neighbor was mentioned for a reason, so don't think I'm gonna be forgetting about him anytime soon.
Still haven't forgotten about the Mysterious Bus Molester, either. I know you originally intended for that person to be anonymous, but if you changed your mind, I'd put my money on Vexen (who I was definitely NOT expecting to show up in this fic) or possibly Saix (that was my previous guess/secret desire, but I think Vexen is a better alternative now).
When you first said "tutor", my mind immediately jumped to Saix being hiring as Riku's private tutor and all kinds of wonderful, illicit things happening...but since this unexpected Vexen thing, I'm wondering if this isn't the part where the noncon comes into play. Vexen is that kind of bastard, and there's supposed to be noncon SOMEWHERE in this fic...I hope Riku gets his pretty ass molested (I'm a bad person, I know).
Oh, speaking of molestation, Axel photographing Riku while molesting him is one of the hottest things in the all of ever. A warning though, about the scene when Riku was getting his first blowjob from Axel-I actually thought it was a little too lengthy. Drawing it out that much took a bit away from the initial excitement, but that could be just me...
I love Riku's new attitude. We can see more of AC180 Riku in here, which is awesome. I'm just waiting for him to get snatched up into modeling any day now...
the story makes it all so real, his emotions, his insucurities (did i spell that right) and his reactions, everything seems exactly like a normal teenager. i like how you discribe everything and i can't wait for another chapter.
Kyuu! I love this story. It has the irresistible smexiness, the sweet bits, the softly angsty bits. And Riku is just so friggin' adorable, I want to smother him to pieces with hugs and kisses! It's an awesome story, really, and not just because the multiple Riku-pairings are making me all gooey and mushy inside.
I like how you chose to write about the aspects of growing up that people more often than not skim over just barely. Sometimes people seem to forget about hormones and stuff stories full of the same lfie lessons over and over. It's a nice change. Plus it's yummy! D
