Aw that was so cute and I liked it lots and I think you should add more to it!

it's cute, but the characterization is a little off.. ? James wouldn't just go and reveal he's an animagus, especially if they weren't even a couple yet, that'd be risking one of his best mate's biggest secrets, plus it's illegal. And you'd think Lily would have a bigger reaction.

That was sweet, but there is one minor detail you overlooked - Lily is running around outside in the dead of winter wearing nothing but her bathrobe and slippers (presumably a nightgown/pajamas under the robe). Probably you ought to have her get fully dressed in the first paragraph. Then we can assume she put on a cloak, but is at least dressed to be running around in public.
