cookie 10/6/11 . chapter 1 Just read this don't know if you look at reviews now. I have no sympathy for House here, unlike some other reviewers. I think Wilson was right to leave House he clearly was not at deaths door! House always blames others when he can't face reality, yes he was in pain but plenty of chronic pain suffers get help, they don't deny they have a problem then steal from the dead. Cuddy has nothing to feel superior to Wilson over, she only ever has stepped in when forced never out of choice or feelings unlike Wilson. |
Hani-Ha Wafflenut 7/6/09 . chapter 1 This episode would have been WAY better if this had happened! |
Visitkarte 5/1/09 . chapter 1Dear Barbara, I loved this story as much as I hated Wilson's behaviour in the episode. Wilson chose a terrible way to try and force House to comply. By torturing him with pain he provoked him to steal the oxycodone. And he made him nearly kill himself. His outrage about Houses 'weakness' was just righteous and infuriating. And he practicly left him to die!
His behaviour was just the example of the official drug policy. It is always the bigotry of the 'drug politic' judging people with pain and their right to pain relief, marking them as criminals just because it's normal to build up resistance to opioides and making people feel guilty for needing them or needing more of them. Well, the general fear of drug abuse made House a cripple in the first line. House won't care, for he is not real, he is only a character on a TV-Show. But there are real people out there who suffer because of that. They care. |
J Lesley 8/10/07 . chapter 1 I love how in character House, Cuddy, and Wilson were and how realistic this story is. I can clearly imagine this happening after the last scene. Beautiful job on this. |
Nyxelestia 4/6/07 . chapter 1This is really good. I can see how/when/where this would fit in perfectly. I love the emotion you write in.

Basser 1/7/07 . chapter 1Ah, yes. The much-needed missing scene there. Writers probably hoped everyone would be in too much shock over Wilson leaving him to question how he managed to get his high-ass self over to Tritter's office. xD Thanks for filling in the pieces for us, you talent you. |
tpel 12/28/06 . chapter 1 Aw - very sweet House/Cuddy friendship. The part where House explains that he was just tired of everything, including fighting with Cuddy and Wilson, was heartbreaking. Excellent job! |
Dr. Fantabulous 12/28/06 . chapter 1 That was very good, so much so that I wish it wasn't one shot :) The characters were so in character I could picture it! Great story! |

bmax 12/25/06 . chapter 1What a wonderfully well written story and great fill in for that scene.
Yes, House has hit rock bottom and now hopefully he can start the long climb back up that hill.
Thanks for writing this. You let us feel the emotions expressed from both House and Cuddy. |
Magdala 12/25/06 . chapter 1Thank you. That is a real Christmas present, a treat for any reader or lover of House, it is so compassionate, beautifully constructed and written. |
