What a great one-shot! The dialogue between Snape and Dumbledore was just hilarious, I loved the humour in it.

“Is that pumpkin cider for Christmas breakfast?” - “Frostbite potion.”
“Come now, Severus. It is Christmas,” - “Yes, I had heard that, Headmaster.” What form would Snape's boggart take? Santa Claus approaching him saying "HoHoHo"?

aw, unusual, but very sweet. and very kind of Severus not to show Harry the fight resulting, and very mature of Harry to realise that 3 to 1 odds just freaking suck.

As it is still the Christmas holidays and I don't have to go back to work until January eighth, I decided to read some Christmas fanfics. I am so glad I found this. What an interesting take on SWM. After having read "The Prince's Tale" in DH, this story is particularly poignant. Wonderful one shot. Loved it.
