Great job in nailing Paula Cassidy's tenacity. I never could figure out for the life of me why they killed her character off the show (which is unfortunate for Jessica Steen, as she really played this character wonderfully and consistently. Alas, the viewing public got cheated again.

Kudos for putting this action sequence together! One of the things I love is the plausibility of it. While adrenaline is a wonderful motivator, it doesn't always overcome physical trauma. This was a great action sequence that really harnessed the physics of hand-to-hand combat, where one opponent is impaired or restrained. Paula's inner voice was spot on with her character, and it was really great to read a well-written action sequence that really should have been filmed in the episode. I could imagine this taking place, including the physical movements of Cassidy and O'Neill during the fight. Not always easy to do! But you managed to nail it here so well I felt my pulse beating a little faster by the time I got to the end of the piece.

Great filler. I too was unsatisfied with being left wondering "what the heck happened?". Anyways, I enjoyed this filler.

I had actually hoped that Agent Cassidy would have been made a permanent character. Oh well. I've been hoping for a Paula Cassidy fic to read and this didn't disappoint. Thank you.

BTW, good writing skills. Many times I tend to get slightly irked with incorrect grammer, punctuations, etc. But this was a great read.
