It sucks that this alerts don't work, 'cause I have you on my alert and if it worked, I wouldn't have take so long to read this and review... Anyway, I think you did a wonderful job on this one - we can feel Danny's emotions really intensely - his hurt on her leaving, his regrets of his own words and his relief and hapiness when she's back. :) Loved it. Quoting - "That had been their last kiss and it killed him that he couldn’t remember every detail of how her lips had felt on his, but he couldn’t. It had just been a kiss, one of many they had shared; nothing special, nothing remarkable, just a brief brushing of his lips against hers." - "It rankled, nagged remorselessly at him, that he hadn’t, that something hadn’t warned him that this would be the last time he saw her, but it hadn’t. It had been just another moment in what should have been years and years of moments." I think that from now on, Danny will savour any little bit moment with her and he will print it on every cell of his body and soul. ;) Way to go marialisa! :) |
