Too bad Ranma felt the need to put it back (the Heart Crystal), this is Happosai by the way. Maybe if she had snapped a few of the edges off or had it blessed first it would have weakened his perversion. So far I am enjoying the story and look forward to finishing the other chapters soon.

The girl she took is probably Akane, and if it is the question that comes from this is what will be the effects of living in a world of chaos and superpowered martial artists? Will she be smarter, more insane, more controled, maybe even changing into a good guy?

Seems I didn't review this the first time around, so I'll do it now.

I quite enjoyed this story.. even the parts involving Akane, and for me that takes some doing. A few parts felt a bit off at first, like Ranma and Akane going at it.. but on second reading, they don't seem that off. Especially keeping in mind the characters ages.. you really don't need that much of a reason to have a shag when you're eighteen, and Akane was always the roadblock there, and with her all amped up on evil (heh) there wasn't any reason for them NOT to do it.

What stood out to me in this story was how well you trod the path between Ranma being all whiney emo over being stuck as a girl, and Ranma accepting his now-permanent female body. The emotional aspect has to be present to some degree for the characterization to be credible, but a lot of stories make the mistake of making Ranma all mopey and unable to cope -- c'mon, this is Ranma we're talking about! On the other hand, I see a lot of stories where Ranma immediately chickifies, and that's really not to my taste; I was glad to see Ranma mostly just trying to deal with something he didn't like but couldn't avoid.

Usagi seemed maybe a little ditzier than I remember her being by the Death Busters arc, but it's been a long time since I've seen any of that. The rest of the Senshi characterzations, as well as those of the other Ranma characters, were quite solid.

Also standing out were the descriptions of the various mythos elements.. the 'gibbering, flopping' things that Lovecraft imaged. From the destruction of Nemesis to the destruction of Earth, they came across as properly alien and horrifying in their other-ness.

On the whole, a thoroughly enjoyable story; time well spent.

An awe inspiring piece of fiction that I happily place on my 'favourites of all time' shelf. I hope you write more Ranma fics!

I rather enjoyed this story. It looks like you were setting up for a sequel but it doesn't look like you have written one. I sure how you do as I'm curious how things will look later on for them. Thanks for all the hard work.

Interesting! Though time line wise that would kind of make Ranma and Akane much younger than the Senshi. Not really an issue however. That is of course if you made it so that Mistress 9 came a long time before the Senshi awakened. x_x Hm, still a good first chapter that has piqued my interests!
