Mools 2009-11-22 . chapter 1Totally awesome story! I actually read this fic a while back, but then I lost it. After searching in vain, I gave up, but then of course, happened upon it by accident. I suppose the best way to find things is to stop looking, after all...
Anyway, I loved your portrayal of the characters and their relationships. They're all done so well, it's amazing. ^_^
Forget DOC, Square should have done a story like THIS. |
FirestormAngelBlaze 2007-11-12 . chapter 1ultimately, i have never ventured into this category but the summary of your story drew me. the summary iself was so mysteriously intriguing, a little sinister and just stuck to mind, not letting me rest until i clicked onto the title. the story itself...pure brilliance! purely disturbing, emotionally-invoking, thought-provoking, it is total genius. your writing style is amazing and so mature, it made your story deeply enjoyable, though leaving a terrible aftertaste.
The way you portrayed Lucrecia was very good, a woman torn between love and faith. i get that there's only so much a human can mentally take but isn't she the one who dug herself a hole by marrying Hojo? your story effectively transported us into the mind of a woman buried in affair and it was highly commendable.
Ja Ne! :D :)

 Lin-Hikaru-7 2006-12-28 . chapter 1Very good story.
Very disturbing. I like your Lucrecia, she is very easy to dislike, but also very human.
The whole story reminds me of when I told my mother about the whole pre-FFVII Nibelheim science disaster, and she said to me and said "So Hojo gets retribution of Vincent Vincent covets Hojo's wife Lucrecia? That's positively biblical." in so many words.
I remember reading the Rape of Lucrecia and at first I thought that Lucrecia was pronounced 'La Crusuet' like the Gundam SEED villian, but pretty soon after hearing aboput FFVII Lucrecia it made a bit more sense.
You she could have a little bit Lucrezia Borgias in her too. After all, they were both beautiful and mysterious, but ultimately damaging. |
