Wow, very nice. I'm impressed with your succinct style-- you still say what needs to be said, and are descriptive, but you make it straight to the point and let the subtleties lie there for the reader to pick up. ^^ I was expecting a kiss or something, but I'm glad it didn't happen because that's cliche, and this was cool in a different way. The tension was still there (wow, that racket behind the shoulder pull thing was very cool) but it didn't degenerate into the cliche. ^^
