Tsukikage Kitsune 2009-11-20 . chapter 1Dogs us all. How perfectly poetic. It reminds me of a dying fall, that way the sound of a beautiful music piece abruptly ends, the haunting music lingering on for a few moments and then ceasing. Very evocative of feeling. Especially that sense of unattainable love. Thanks for the inspiration to continue my own work. |
Elendraug 2009-05-17 . chapter 1I am sobbing. I am crying my eyes out, loudly and uncontrollably. My cat is looking at me and wondering wtf is wrong with me.
This... This is what I so desperately needed. I just finished the game, and I was aching for some sort of closure, some sort of explanation. This is so beautiful, so believable, that you've both helped put my mind at ease and helped me be able to fully cry at the devastating end of this game.
Thank you. Thank you so, so much. I'll be reading this repeatedly, I promise you. |
 tanith-4486 2009-02-11 . chapter 1nice |
Chernika 2009-01-24 . chapter 1This is beautifully melancholy. One of the very rare worthwhile Zelda fics I've ever seen. Midna as a voice in Zelda's head is a very good idea, even though I think she sounds a little too much like her imp self: she seemed a lot calmer as her normal self. But that's just a minor nitpick.
Grieving Link is very well executed, and I like how lost Zelda feels herself.
Great work, congratulations again. |
Poptart 2008-10-14 . chapter 1 This was amazing. I just finished the game and wanted to read some other ending - some further ending - so badly that I hopped online immediately. This was perfect. From Link being a guy of few words to Zelda's strange disconnection from him, which is so unlike the other games.
Thanks so much! |
TheSuper 2008-09-23 . chapter 1 Wow... this fic was beyond impressive. I'd never fully bought into the whole Link/Midna romance, but I think you've highlighted precisely what it means, and I like it a lot more now. I've always thought of Link as a tragic character, and the way in which you've enumerated it here was absolutely astounding. And major kudos to you for creating a blisteringly realistic portrayal of love, where Midna lets loose with her longest bit of dialog.
Very impressed. Please keep writing |
Razer Athane 2008-07-01 . chapter 1Beautiful... Just beautiful. Excellent job. |
Wolfen Dreams 2008-05-28 . chapter 1I'm not quite sure how I could possibly do this story justice, but I'll give it a shot.
It was absolutely, completely, awe-inspiring. It was just amazing. Insightful, entertaining, and just... perfect.
Having Midna still in Zelda's mind was an especially nice touch, and it gave Midna her chance to speak. Not only that, but you captured Midna very well. All three of them, really.
Absolutely breathtaking. |
TheWatcherandReader 2008-03-15 . chapter 1Poignant. I'd like to see more of your work, specifically in this category. S'pity you haven't written anything in a while. But, I guess one may hope. Keep on updating. |
 catgirl789 2008-01-18 . chapter 1Beautiful, I loved it. =D |
shnou 2007-12-06 . chapter 1Ah! Wibble! For that ending, I wibble. Gorgeous, and I don't know how I missed seeing this story for so long. My 'ship remains broken, but she sails valiantly ever on (if listing a bit) in your fic. Thank you. |
Lina Darkstar 2007-12-06 . chapter 1When I finished Twilight Princess the very next thing I did was come read this. Because the ending made me unhappy and I rather expected that whatever it was you had written, you would fix it.
You never disappoint, you know, but this time you really made it all better. |
kindigo 2007-12-03 . chapter 1Rare is the story that can make me bark out a laugh at the same time I'm crying. The speech the voice of Midna gives--Ashei--The regality of Zelda--well, everything about this story, actually. Damn you. |
Silver Volken Raven 2007-11-25 . chapter 1This was sad...and great! Midna's rant about Link was funny yet very sweet! :D I definately fav! |
the-butter-Keeper 2007-11-01 . chapter 1This ending is sad yet fitting. It really made emotions stir within me. Hope you wright anothe this was great. |
