I adore this. It's a story that really makes me think about Toph in a way I've never considered. A mark of a truly excellent story.

Beautiful. I love this: you really capture Toph's character, and I love the examples you use for her to miss home. The ending of this was great, very well phrased, very effective.

One thing I would suggest is to make sure to read over the doc before posting it, as ff dot net messed up your italics in the third section.

This is so sweet and sad. I'm not sure I completely understand number 3, but it's all very lovely. I think your Toph is spot on, and I really enjoy 4. The last line is chilling.

AH I love your writing style. The whole style of the story is kind of "breathtakingly efficient" like toph herself, and the last line is very definitive and kind of jarring. LOVE IT.
