Loved it! Lorna's past was unexplored much like Domino's. I was very curious about it and I have to say that you didn't disapoint with her past. I loved the way you explored the surfecing (is that even a word) of her powers, it was very beleaveble. Anyways great stuff.

Lovely oneshot. I loved how you made her feel cold when she was with Alex. An allusion to Bobby the Iceman, maybe? Can't wait for Domino's!

Hey, I like this idea! The girls had made such interesting allusions to their pasts in the first fic - when they got Rogue - I always wondered what had happened with them.

Lorna's past seemed so real. I liked that it did not involve any sort of family abuse or abandonment...or any off the wall angry mob story...it just seemed like a very real and confusing time for her. Her boyfriend cheated on her and she felt like a freak; very simple and very effective.

I also liked how you described her emotions throughout. The fact that she didn't explore her mutant powers while Alex was hurt really showed just how much he meant to her, and did an excellent job of backing up her emotional spells in the first Scorned fic.

The way her mutant powers seemed so surreal and hazy to her was good as well. I think it fit Lorna to not have some emotional outburst about it, but rather she was just so thrown off and scared that she didn't seem to want to notice. That was very like her character.

You did a very good job of tying all of this into your other two stories. You didn't stray off into any unknown territory (meaning it all made sense, lol), nor did you stray from her character. I always admire the way you are so true to the girls, yet you are very able to make it sound more like real life than a crazy comic book. I love the comics and all, but I think you know what I mean ;)

So anyways, thanks for this great piece of background info (once again my alerts weren't working and I stumbled onto your author page and found this), and I hope to see another Scorned update soon! Later days!

Wow... 30 pages into Domino's history already... O_O... I think it's gonna be like 100 pages by the time you're done with it. Hahah. It'll take me days to read it, even week, perhaps... o.o
