I wonder if we'll see anything like this in canon? You've done a good job of making Remus look into the pit.

A sad but beatiful and well written Fanfic, this was. Very deep and very IC. If Snape really turns out to be the bad guy, then all this is showing that there's a reason for everything. If not, then it's a wonder he stayed true to himself.

Excellent story. I loved how you explained Sevrus and his state of mind. I love how remus feels some remorse for what he and the marauders did. Of course I still believe Severus to be on the light side...I guess we'll find out sometime this year.

(Only criticism is the bit at the beginning - there's no real need to mention the stuff about Tonk's usually going by her last name, as pretty much anyone who reads this would have to know the backstory. It does seem to fit with the narrative though so it's not a problem :P)

It's brilliant (as ever), especially coming straight after the fic from Severus' viewpoint. Very powerful, (and with a clear moral too). I like the quote from what Katy did (it's not just blokes that haven't read it). Can't really think what else to say other than it's great.
