Wow, this was very good. Though it has holes concerning the original story of TRC- and I'm sure you already know what they are- this was very enjoyable!!

I love reading interpretations of Subaru and Seishiro's background, and your own was fabulous. Also, I was surprised at the reason you gave Seishiro to chase them, and though I myself believe Seishiro knows /exactly/ who he is chasing [When Fuuma told Subaru that he was anxious to see him, he did so very benevolently, and I believe that he was reflecting Seishiro's emotions as well. So, I don't think Seishiro's chasing for revenge].

But this is still an amazing tale, and I even saw my own ideas- that I thought no one else had- coming through in your writing.

OMG this is such a beautiful story! There's really no word to describe how it makes you feel. Touched, that's probably the best. Though I have to say, I really don't think Kamui would agree to drugging Subaru to get him to feed. Anyway, excellent story!

A very interesting back-up story that you come out with...There are loopholes, here and there...like Fuuma is supposedly Seishirou's brother and WingedSerpent also mentioned that quote. And When Yuuko said purebreed vampires I'd like to think Subaru and Kamui were born vampires, they weren't 'turned'. Vampires can age, just slower than human beings.

Now that you mention the pendants I realise Seishirou also has a pendant. I had thought that the pendants are kind of representations of vampires' names.

It's a real possibility that Hokuto-chan exists in TRC. Fuuma said, "Just like my brother said. You really are strong, Kamui. ... But he also told me that when angered, Subaru-san is scary, too." How did Seishirou know Subaru is scary when angered? May be Seishirou had murdered Hokuto, and Kamui convinced Subaru to flee. But Subaru did ask about Seishirou's well-being when he met Fuuma, so this story is highly possible too.

I agree with MonMon Potter! I would really, really, really LOVE a sequel where Seishirou get to catch up with Subaru and realise 'Subaru the vampire' is the boy he fell in love with! PLEASE

I'm so... stunned. It's really amazing. You managed to add that perfect twist of CLAMP fluff meeting their agonizing angst. It makes me want to cry and wibble all at once.

This seems so.. Clamp like. i got the same feeling i get after one of their weird plot twists; it's truly amazing how you came up with this. I wish you'd continue though, it's not like Clamp will give me the happy ending i so long for so maybe you can? maybe i'm asking a lot but i dread the ending they have planned for them in tsubasa. :)

OMG! wow...this broke my heart. As I read this all I could think of was Tokyo Babylon and X and how Subaru and Seishiro were star-crossed. I knew how this was going to end but still I wanted to believe in their short-lived happiness. It really isn't fair that CLAMP keeps jerking those two around.

Yes, I'm talking about them as if they're real people but Subaru and Seishiro are my most favorite characters of all time and you write them so well. I especially like how you kept them close to their original nature...like how Seishiro is constipated when it comes to understanding and expressing love and how Subaru is as naive about physical relationships as a newborn baby. Yet it would make sense that Subaru would be the one to express his love verbally while Seishiro does it physically.

Also the details about Seishiro's eyes was genius in how it subtly tied them back to Tokyo Babylon and X. The way you considered and covered every detail made this back story really really believable. I wouldn't be surprised is CLAMP's goes something like this.

Now I'm going to shut up and favorite this. You are one amazing writer.

A story that so well explains the relationship between Seishirou and Subaru (my secondary reason for reading TCR).
You've done well with this story, including Kamui and Hokuto, and Setsuko. And your connection with the overall trend of Fei Wong Reed's to massacre people in order to get what he wants - brilliant.
As for your logic for why Seishirou doesn't recognise Subaru's name as being attached to the boy, it is the most interesting theory I've heard yet for why Seishirou is chasing Subaru and Kamui.
* Except for one flaw. In Chapter 128 (Vol. 17), Fuuma says that he met his brother while travelling worlds and heard about the vampire twins then. "Just like my brother said. You really are strong, Kamui. ... But he also told me that when angered, Subaru-san is scary, too." This could imply that Seishirou knows exactly who Subaru is.

STILL, this story is one of the best I've seen concerning the Tsubasa versions of Seishirou, Subaru, and Kamui. I hope you write more along these lines.
