 iamnuff 2009-10-18 . chapter 12wow, i never even played nwn2.
but this is STILL awesome.
i played the first game with underdark and riptide expansions but not the second, all i know of it is what i read from your fanfics.
have to say. all of your stories are really well written |
Frostfyre7 2009-10-05 . chapter 10Heh, had to find a chapter I hadn't already reviewed. Just re-read this, and was reminded how much I love this story. Please, don't leave us hanging! Give us more Sand-and-Serafin goodness! I'm begging you! |
icanseeuuu 2009-09-17 . chapter 12I loved your story, you (and Sand) are hilarious. I really hope that you finish the story. I loved the way in which you described the characters. Please, finish the story, it's really hard to find a good Sand-centric story, specially one that is half as funny as this one. |
 Aeltari Kareidis 2009-08-24 . chapter 1Oh my!
This was fantastic on so many levels I really dont know what to say! I loved Sand's thought process, you captured that very well. I laughed so much at various parts, and then I was shocked at the end when he was thinking about killing her, sort of.
How relieved I was when he didnt do that...he loves her in that Sand-y special way, yay!
Sand and Torio are my favorite characters, I love stories about them. |
 CrayonMentality 2009-08-07 . chapter 1This story is so good, it's fantastic. :D |
MisAntropia 2009-06-01 . chapter 12Simply fantastic. I had a really good time reading this, thank you! :) |
yars 2009-03-23 . chapter 1I spent the entire night snickering over every chapter. You portray Sand so believably, and the jabs taken at Casavir are perfectly underrated (the line where he severely admonishes Seraphin about the perfidy of demons is a good example of this). I can't remember the last time I enjoyed fan-writing so much - it almost makes me want to re-install NWN2 and start playing again, just to hear Sand's coolly acerbic tones. Thank you for writing this! I would love to see this fic finished, though I understand how RL and/or interest in the story have a way of intervening. T_T |
Gabe 2009-03-22 . chapter 12 I'm a newbie to neverwinter nights, but I must say, your writing is exquisite, and Sand is completely awesome. @_@ I hope you update soon. |
Firilya 2009-01-19 . chapter 12That was just really awesome and touching.
I love the way you write everyone and their personal little quirks - especially Sand, of course. But I also like Bishop somewhat better now... I think maybe I'll have him around a bit longer next time, and never mind the insults.
Mother Haggard is a great character, too, and the story had me laughing out loud at several points - which I don't do that often while reading. I also really liked how you implemented spells and potions and all those things from the game's system of rules into the story. ("Back to sleeping in a globe of invulnerability"... ahaha. Poor Sand. :) The uses for Mass Invisibility were also rather... inventive.)
So thanks for posting, the story was a pleasure to read.

I absolutely need a notification should you ever decide to continue. :) |
sane 2008-11-25 . chapter 12 Love the humour and how smartly you've written a non-sappy or non-angsty romance! Also love the inventive pairing of your chapter titles. This is the best OC X Sand fanfic I've read. Another chapter, pretty please? |
pencilears 2008-11-16 . chapter 12This is so great, ** me but I've been starved of things to read for so long you are a refrigerated drinking fountain in the middle of the goddamn Gobi desert.
I have no idea what neverwinter nights is and I don't care, it is as far as I can see completely nonvital to my enjoyment of your story.
there should be more of this, why is there not more of this?
*claws at your window at night like the walking dead, howling for more fanfic and also brains* |
 K. Shrike 2008-08-08 . chapter 12That has to be among the best things I ever read. Normally, I'll chuckle at a bad pun wittily deployed or at a British comedy, but... this had me clutching my sides. I was laughing so hard it hurt to breathe! As draining as you say it was to write Sand's dry wit, it certainly doesn't come across in the text. The dialogue sparked, zinged, and flowed. I know it's been an age and a half since you updated, but... I'd give my right arm and a blueberry pie to read more of this. Stawberry rhubarb, instead if you'd prefer. Despite its half-finished feel, I must say that chapter 12 does end in a place that sort of works, in a lot-of-loose-ends sort of way, if you don't decide to finish it. Excellent. Simply excellent. |
slef 2008-07-26 . chapter 12Awesome, simply awesome! And oh, what woe to notice you haven't updated this in over a year... what are my chances of ever getting to read the rest?
You've got Sand spot-on! |
Soulhost 2008-07-14 . chapter 12Totally loved it! :) Sand is very much in character and I wanted to beat the h-lls outta Luskan for trying to bribe him >:O lol but, anyway, love your story (this was a good chapter (especially with Sand and the shadow thingy lmfao!!))! Keep up the awesome work :D |
Kerezteny 2008-06-19 . chapter 12My inner fangirl is squeeing. I mean really, some people try to do the whole 'he is completely devoted to my mary-sue and has no flaws' thing, but you've definitely shoved -that- out the window. And I normally really hate elf-human relationships of any sort (to the point where whenever I played Baldur's Gate 2 my race would be decided on whether or not I would romance someone) but you've made it work so far--there are problems, and they acknowledge them. You know, Sand is actually really hard to keep in character. A lot of people take the voice and decide to just make him sound gay. Luckily you've avoided this.
Shame this was updated over a year ago...one of the few decent NWN2 fanfictions I've had the honor of reading, and considering the sheer amount of them on the internet, I'd say you have something going for you. Or did. |
