I mean really, some people try to do the whole 'he is completely devoted to my mary-sue and has no flaws' thing, but you've definitely shoved -that- out the window. And I normally really hate elf-human relationships of any sort (to the point where whenever I played Baldur's Gate 2 my race would be decided on whether or not I would romance someone) but you've made it work so far--there are problems, and they acknowledge them. You know, Sand is actually really hard to keep in character. A lot of people take the voice and decide to just make him sound gay. Luckily you've avoided this. Shame this was updated over a year ago...one of the few decent NWN2 fanfictions I've had the honor of reading, and considering the sheer amount of them on the internet, I'd say you have something going for you. Or did.

Things like this make my inner fangirl just giddy with amusement (makes me wonder how it would have played out had it been Duncan instead of Daeghun). Great job!

I ever got a chance to finish NWN2 (compter had a fit when I asked it to run the game on 'barely meeting the minimum requirements' about halfway through), and so on the whole I avoid fics pertaining to it... I am so very, very glad I decided to break that habit and read this. A wonderful, witty story - I do believe I was laughing out loud through most of it!

Either way it's written with a light, witty touch, just as it should be. Reading this story cheered me right up when I got to the rather depressing end of NWN2 and thought 'is that it?'. Since you didn't say this was complete, I'll keep my fingers crossed you'll come back to it sometime and give us some more Sand-related goodness...

I confess I didn't know the first thing about Neverwinter Nights but that didn't stop me from enjoying the dysfunctional characters and of course, sarcasm done right. Even though I probably won't read another NWN story out there, I'm willing to bet that no one can spin these characters quite like you. In a good way. So kudos to you, it was a wonderful journey, and I hope you finish it sometime in the future.
