Wonderful piece. It's so... so Darla, her thoughts, her actions, her words. It's a perfect characterization. The fic is also very fluid and I liked your portrayal of the Immortal. We never get too see what he's really like, but I imagine him just like you described him. I liked the last line, I could very well imagine Darla saying that in that precise tone. All in all, I enjoyed reading this very much (I love to read about Darla and the Fanged Four past, especially if it involves Holtz too).
